how it works
A 1:1 call is 60 minutes and we can use the time however you’d like. In order for you to get the most out of our session together, do some homework ahead of time.
how to prepare
Outline the three main things you'd like to discuss and provide any necessary links that we may need to reference during our meeting (for example your portfolio site or a dropbox link to a specific project).
Feel free to bring even more questions or topics! Depending on what you'd like to chat about we might not get to all of it, or we may have time to spare. I also highly encourage you to take notes during our call. If specific resources come up during our call I will do my best to make a note of them and send them to you afterwards.
The Details
The first session is $120 CAD, follow-up sessions are $100. Book your session in the calendar here.
Sessions are nonrefundable and must be booked within four weeks of purchase. After your scheduled call is confirmed you'll receive an invoice for payment, due before the call.

In order for our call to go smoothly, please make sure you have a clear internet connection, you’re in a quiet place, and that you won’t be interrupted during our time slot so we can make the most of it.
If you are a student on a limited budget reach out, I offer a select number of student priced calls per quarter.

A little about
my background
I have over ten years of design experience, most of which I spent building and growing my primarily one-person design studio. From charging $25 an hour back in 2012 and taking on every project I could get my hands on, I now take on only a very limited number of branding projects every year, and instead focus on what really brings me joy; editorial layout design.
I spent many years teaching a twelve-week class to graduating design and web students titled Portfolio Development. I loved collaboratively working with the students, helping them determine their career path, refine their final online portfolio and individual projects and sharing all my freelance and design knowledge.
