Irit Sorokin
branding, print, layout
Irit Sorokin is a jewelry designer based in Vancouver, BC, who has been creating one-of-a-kind statement jewelry pieces for a number of years. Irit was ready to step up her game branding-wise, by investing in a proper re-brand, aiming to deliver a more focused experience for her customers and have a solid brand foundation in place before overhauling her website.
Irit’s collection of designs is extremely multifaceted, each piece truly one of a kind, and one of a few. The majority of her jewels are bold statement pieces, each constructed with materials sourced from a different corner of the world. The warm colour palette accompanying the brand is inspired by the pieces and their history themselves, influenced by archaeology, sandy dunes, dusty deserts, gemstones and ancient architecture. Just enough colour to have some variety, and little enough that it won’t distract from the jewelry itself. Rich in style, yet simple in design, we sourced a minimal, yet sophisticated typeface for the logo that will last the test of time and reflect the quality and care that goes into every piece.
The new brand speaks to her well-travelled, adventurous spirited customers who are loyal to the brand and buy Irit's pieces as wearable art to accompany their everyday lives. Furthermore the new brand was used as a guideline for the new online store as well, designed and developed by GD Commerce.
