imagine1day Annual Report
imagine1day was founded in 2007 by Canadian philanthropists Shannon and Chip Wilson with the goal of ensuring that all Ethiopian children have access to quality education, free of foreign aid, by 2030.
The team at imagine1day reached out to me to help them designer their digital annual report for 2020. The non-profit had been through a few changes over the past year and hadn't put together a formal report in a few years. Furthermore, the brand was going through some visual changes and didn't have a updated brand guideline to reference. Once I got the final working materials I took visual cues from the current website and laid out all the content and imagery across a horizontal page, divided into a flexible three column layout.
The bright vibrant colours are very present throughout the report, in the form of background colours, type, icons, highlights and more. Whenever possible colourful photos are laid out across the pages, allowing the content to feel lively and engaging and not too corporate. Individual statistics and facts are pulled out of the content to highlight specific achievements. These stats are accompanies by custom icons illustrated by hand to give the report a warm and fun look and feel.
