Columbia College provides a platform for international students to find their voice in this new country and culture. The college’s vision is to provide students with the necessary tools to be successful in not only their academic life but their life after Columbia College and in Canada.

After going through a recent re-brand, the communications team at Columbia College reached out to me to re-design their two viewbooks; University Transfer/Associate Degrees and Highschool Programs. Education agents from Columbia College travel internationally to meet with future students and their parents. The viewbooks are key informational tools, sometimes serving as the first introduction to the college.

Thanks to Skeleton Crew Creative's recent re-brand for Columbia College, we had a great new visual language to play with; a new logo, a variety of fun colours, and bold graphic elements. First and foremost, the information in the viewbooks needed to be clear and easy to read. The new and fresh brand lends itself really nicely to colour-blocking and breaking up the content across the page. This makes the design more dynamic, and the content easier to scan to find the most important decision-making details. The secondary intention behind the design and photography, was to showcase a glimpse into what life at Columbia College is like - highlighting student life, the college's central Vancouver location and environment.
