Combining delicate detailing, refined compositions and vibrant colour palettes in a youthful personality, Lover’s Tempo is a Vancouver-based jewellery line offering quality, everyday pieces for the classic modern girl. Having been around for quite a few years the brand was long due for a brand overhaul.
After going over the brands mission, values and target market we immediately knew what direction the new brand needed to head to. In order to reflect the contrasting personality of the pieces – delicate details with a classic youthful twist – we focused on making the logo a new clean and simple word mark, by combining a dainty thin serif and a bold charcoal sans serif. Since the brand is made up of a lot of strong colourful pieces it was important that the new canvas they lay on be simplistic. We narrowed down the colour scheme to shades of grey and creme, with a few sparkles of gold. Adding a bit of sophistication to the new pieces all brand elements are printed on textured white paper with either a gold or embossed logo. Not wanting to come across too minimally luxurious a little graphic flare was needed. To gave the brand more approachable and youthful feel a fun little dotted brush pattern was added.
The re-brand included a logo, icon, colour scheme, pattern, branding guide, business cards, various packaging pieces, line sheets, social media and web graphics.
