eau de parfum | escents
fight against human trafficking
Today over four million women and children are enslaves in the sex and labour trade worldwide. Over 250,000 are in North America and many in Vancouver. Escents joined forces with The Salvation Army and the Truth Isn’t Sexy campaign in the fight against human trafficking. As part of the campaign four new perfumes were launched, of which 10% of the profits are donated to a safe house, dedicated to helping human trafficking victims restore their freedom, dignity and self-respect.
Inspired by women with a complicated and troublesome past, a detailed geometric pattern was designed for the eau de parfum. The box and label die have feminine rounded edges. The women who this product was created for are on a path of recovery into a brighter and easier future, therefore the overall look of the eau de parfum is light and airy. The typography is clean, sophisticated and elegant, like a woman herself. Each scent – Courage, Grace, Hope and Joy – is crafted to reflect the unique and complex side of a woman and colour coordinated by scent, fitting in with rest of the Escents brand.
